I try to shy away from matching couples outfits, one too many knitted colourful sweaters and designer bags have been seen in my day. My partner and I unintentionally matched at a dinner last week, in what else but grey marle. It's the colour I find myself reaching for second to black. And with its murky territory somewhere between sports and weekend luxe no wonder it's so ubiquitous.
